Newman Connection is excited to announce another addition to the United In Prayer Network, the Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration, the “Desert Nuns”.  The Poor Clares are a cloisetered contemplative community located in Tonopah, Arizona and they have a message for you.

Dear Newman Connection Students;
Joy to you in our Lord Jesus Christ.  We are blessed to be uniting our prayers, offered at the Lord’s Feet, for the particular intentions of college-aged youth!
We are a cloistered contemplative community of Nuns in Tonopah, AZ, entirely dedicated to perpetual Eucharistic Adoration, in a spirit of reparative thanksgiving.
Our day is ordered by the celebration of Holy Mass, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the recitation of the Liturgy of the Hours, work, and community life.
In difficult moments, in time of need, or when faced with your own weakness, know that there is someone who is in the Presence of the King interceding for you. You can always submit your prayer requests at  Know of our United in Prayer effort with you!
May the Lord continue to bless your efforts to the glory of His name.
In Christ,
The Nuns of Our Lady of Solitude Monastery
