Dear Newman Connection,

The Alexian Brothers Congregation is a group of men who commit to the Alexian Brothers tradition of healing and hope for the powerless and needy that has continued for nearly 8 Centuries.  We are “Ordinary Men Living Extraordinary Lives”.  The Alexian Brothers are unique, whose roots rose from the urban poor of the 12th Century.

My name is Brother Dan McCormick, CFA, the Director of Vocation.  Please know that our Community will join you to pray for Catholic Campus Ministry and the Young mean and women for whom you labor.

In any vocation discernment, our primary desire is to deepen our relationship with God.  Spirituality is the basic component of religious life.  Before anything else, we are men of prayer who have been formed to become Alexian Brothers.  WE are an Apostolic Congregation of Catholic men who are committed to the care of the poor, the powerless and the aged.  Daily we come together as a Community in the morning to celebrate Lauds and in the evening to pray Vespers in union with the Church.

A good place to star is our Congregation’s website at www.alexianbrothers.org.

The next step is up to the men with whom you minister.  It is the hope and prayer of all of our Brothers that they will listen to Our Lord’s invitation and give us a call.

Fraternally yours in Christ and St. Alexius,

Brother Dan McCormick, CFA
Director of Vocations
