A Message from Lyke House

Lyke House is unique in the country. Its physical structure responds to the Adinkra saying and symbol Sankofa — “Go back and fetch” or remember. The building and program respond to the call of ancient Africa and its African Christianity to remember our rich past so that we might have a fruitful future. We call our community in its diversity of Blackness to share the wealth of spirituality the many patrons and cultures its students represent. We are building on a tradition of Black Catholic Campus ministry in a spirit of Christian love and service. If you would like to know more about our ministry, please call 404-755-2646, or email Fr. Urey P. Mark, S.V.D umark1973@gmail.com, or Ashley Morris – Campus minister at amorris@lykehouse.org.
