The Newman Community exists to support the educational mission of the university, to minister to students, faculty, staff and the broader community, and to assist in the integration of faith and learning from an authentically Catholic perspective.

We are guided by four basic concerns

  1. The worship of Jesus Christ.
  2. Service and hospitality to the needy.
  3. Education and intellectual formation.
  4. Building community through social activities

All activities and services are open to the entire Colgate community and we draw great encouragement from the vibrant and diverse religious life here.
